SAS Programmer-MD
Alliance Technology was built on the premise that having the right technical skill is only half the equation. In today’s market Clients want consultants that have the skills necessary to build multi-tier, complex, sophisticated systems, but they also want consultants that will work hard, culturally fit into their environment and have the attitude to get the job done right the first time. Therefore, we at Alliance Technology focus on our client’s environment and culture as well as the required skills. We provide highly skilled consultants with the right personalities to fit in our Client’s culture, the work ethic to get the job done and the due diligence to get the job done right the first time!
Background
The need for pharmacogenomic data reviews has increased drastically during the last 12 months. These include both Voluntary Exploratory Data Submissions (VXDS) as well as data submitted with INDs and NDAs. An increased volume of these data underscores the need for efficient electronic genomic data transmission and linkage.

We need to hire a Certified SAS programmer to support the development of electronic genomic data submission formats and linkage with nonclinical and clinical correlate data in regulatory review.
Consultant needs experience in bioinformatics software development,
· Knowledge of Perl, SQL,
· Relational databases,
· Unix shell scripting, programming skills including C/C++ and/or Java,
· Knowledge of statistics or algorithm development.
Experience with genetic sequence, SNP and microarray data, as well as clinical data, is a plus.
