SAP Solutions Sales Manager
Object of Position:
Sell SAP services to select potential and existing clients. Fully penetrate targeted accounts by selling all SAP services. Also work closely with consulting delivery team on project evaluations.
Job Description:
Through a consultative selling approach create new value for potential and existing customers through our customized solutions. Identify opportunities where our services will enable clients to reach their growth objectives.
Essential Job Functions:• Determine targeted client accounts • Successfully manage and grow targeted client accounts • Sell all services to clients within targeted accounts • Help customers arrive at new or better solutions to their growth portfolio challenges through customized solutions.
Responsibilities:• Personal ownership of at least $1M in sales target with an account base of about 25 to 40 accounts, with a combination of a few select key accounts and several second tier accounts• Successfully meet/exceed annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy • Manage and direct the execution of sales plans and initiatives • Partner with management team to ensure the best possible service• Recommend sales strategies for continuous improvement based on industry research and competitor analysis • Develop and execute major account penetration and revenue growth strategic and tactics
Required Qualifications:• 5+ years of sales experience in a consulting firm with a proven track record of continuous success • Major account management and strategic selling experience • Experience in building relationships• Accurate sales forecasting and business planning experience • Success at building long term business relationships • Ability to effectively sell at all levels within an organization • Outstanding communications skills • Sales management; planning and execution of client specific sales strategies• Extensive experience in partner management including contract negotiations, building strategic partner relationships and managing collaborative programs. • Experience managing executive level relationships with the ability to influence at all levels • Extensive experience in business development, channel sales, account management, and/or related area within the technology and/or software industries
Preferred Experiences:• Established relationships in the appropriate industry • Experience writing detailed proposals and formal presentations
Reporting Relationships:• Reports to the Sales Manager in designated group
