QA Engineer

 

We’re looking for a QA Engineer who is a self-starter and can learn quickly, maintain focus, work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to the improvement of our QA and release processes. Attention to detail and a passion for quality are necessities for this position.

 

Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years in the QA field in testing commercial web applications and supporting backend systemsKnowledge of software development, QA methodologies, release processExperience using bug tracking systemsExperience with VSS and SQL a plusExcellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and work ethicStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to multi-task to meet deadlinesBA or BS degree required, preferably in related field

 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Perform manual testing of web application and related backend applications and systemsExecute functional, application, regression and performance testsTroubleshoot and work with developers on issuesWrite and execute use cases / test cases / test plansGenerate bug reports and follow through to resolutionSupport release process and perform production site verification testing
