Description



As a Project Coordinator for the Consumer Experience Team, you'll work directly with the industry's leading marketers to define, manage and execute innovative online marketing and media programs including web applications, site development, and email deployment. You'll play a key role in developing online marketing programs, and collaborate with our creative team to persuasively present strategic rationale and recommendations to clients. And then you'll bring it all together as Project Coordinator - from creative concept and design, to programming and development, trafficking, optimization, reporting and analysis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Effectively manages client expectations regarding Valassis 1 to 1 Solutions efforts and project execution Understands key aspects of the client's business Develops schedules for projects that balance client and agency needs; proactively keeps team informed of project status Support eMarketing, Creative and other departments as needed Create email mailing reports for deployed campaigns Create summary reports for completed online marketing programs

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: BA/BS Degree Intern experience plus 1-2 years of Agency marketing experience preferred Strong knowledge of the Internet, current technologies and trends Working knowledge of HTML Email marketing experience with the ability to develop and follow industry best practicesProficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project Able to build strong relationships with internal team members and external clientsStrong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills Professional, reliable, ability to multi-task and work well under pressure: enthusiastic, and self-motivated Willingness to work in a team environment and fill in where needed Agency experience preferred

EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Usual Office Conditions including keyboard skills. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The employee is frequently required to travel.
