We are currently seeking a Product Manager to report directly to the Director of Product Management and drive the innovation and execution of our consumer website through product marketing and product development expertise.  This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the success of a world-class consumer driven online organization. This role is critical to enhancing the customer experience, driving brand loyalty, reinforcing brand personality and ultimately driving revenue.  The top candidate will possess a proven track record including significant contributions to best in class online marketplaces and be a strategic thinker with strong business acumen.  The career path for this position includes higher levels of responsibility within Product Development and Marketing.  This position is located at our Chicago area headquarters in Rolling Meadows, IL.

 

Key Responsibilities:Deliver results across product development activities as measured by customer satisfaction and retention, conversion improvement, revenue growth, creation of new revenue opportunities, driving fulfillment and call center streamlining and efficiencies, etc.Identify and drive product development activities across cross-functional teams representing many stakeholders including the customer, marketing, business development, suppliers, finance, IT and operations.Collaborate with Information Architecture, Technology and Creative to understand feasibility and constraints of potential functionality.Work with the Creative Director and Marketing to conduct or outsource research, usability studies, etc. Research competitors and perform market sizing to identify new product features that will address key market opportunities and support the overall strategic goals of the company.Collaborate with the business to develop the business case for new products and features and prioritize as a key input to the product roadmaps.Develop product requirements with input from appropriate stakeholders.Manage the research, development and execution of new product development as well as feature enhancements.Stay abreast of the rapidly evolving content and e-commerce delivery marketplace and develop the appropriate features designed to take advantage of alternative delivery vehicles.Identify new and innovative ways to utilize TicketNow's data to support the corporate goals and strategies.Monitor and investigate customer feedback, then translate that feedback into actionable improvements.Analyze site metrics post implementation for conversion, user behavior patterns and customer feedback across TicketsNow products to determine the impacts of new features or defects.

 

Requirements and Qualifications:4-6 years interactive product development experience in a consumer oriented e-commerce business.Strong understanding of the web development lifecycle.Bachelor’s Degree required and MBA preferred.Strong understanding of the latest technical standards and best practices in site usability and interactive product design and development.Successful track record partnering with business stakeholders and IT in the development and launch of advanced interactive products.Strong strategic, analytical, problem solving and project management abilities.Solution and team oriented while demonstrating the ability to work independently and adapt to changes in a rapid development environment. Confident and effective presenter to a variety of audiences including the ability to communicate complex business factors, product design and technical issues effectively. Must possess a passion for the customer and breakthrough opportunities and results.
