Product Manager (Health Channel)

Director of Product Management, for Health Channel in our New York City. This senior position requires significant product management experience, a passion for the user experience, and proven ability to execute. Reporting to the SVP Product Management, the Director will collaborate with Editorial, technology, Sales, Marketing and Finance to strategically define, prioritize and execute new health channel products and site enhancements.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Analysis
Work with team members and senior management to further develop and execute a Health product strategy and vision including identification of new opportunities.
Lead improvements to the user experience by leveraging metrics, research, experience and cross-departmental team ideas and input.
Perform market research and monitor competitive activity as needed.
Monitor budget.

Project Management

Determine, track, and maintain Health channel priorities and roadmap

Manage new product development from strategic planning to implementation and post-launch analysis by working with senior management, editorial, marketing, sales, technology and finance.
Project manage Health channel development pipeline including creation of functional requirements, tracking of project progress, and post-launch analysis..
Leverage Health channel improvements to network level as opportunity arises.


Communication

Participate in conferences and panels
Lead internal collaboration and consistent view of strategy, priorities and status.

Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years direct Internet product management experience and proven track record of defining, developing and launching online products / services.
