Print-on-Demand Enterprise Account Manager The Print-on-Demand Enterprise Account Management group helps large publishers and other enterprise content providers distribute their book content via BookSurge’s print-on-demand platform.  Through the delivery of these print-on-demand services, the Enterprise Account Management group helps publishers grow book sales, reduce risk/costs, and improve supply chain efficiency by ensuring that their titles are perpetually and virtually “in-stock” and available to customers. Enterprise Account Managers manage top-tier publisher relationships throughout the entire process of delivering and setting up new titles and then distributing those titles through Amazon and other sales channels.  Account Managers are also responsible for growing our business with our existing top-tier clients by identifying new business and promotional opportunities.  They also manage special projects, new product launches, and day-to-day problem solving. Successful candidates will be well-rounded, entrepreneurial generalists who are customer focused, detail oriented, analytical, quantitative, strong communicators, have a passion to constantly improve our services and processes, and are able to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Core functions: Manage delivery of print-on-demand services through the entire project lifecycle, including book delivery and setup as well as ongoing book marketing/sales/distribution Interface with buying, merchandising, technology, operations, and manufacturing teams to ensure that client projects and launch plans are implemented on time and on budget Act as a business manager/owner: analyze results, advise, proactively make recommendations and improvements Perform ad hoc problem solving and issue resolution (escalating as appropriate) Present account performance and metrics summaries to key accounts in annual business reviews Develop detailed account plans aimed at winning new business from existing customers Ensure client satisfaction and business success by driving both short- and long-term initiatives to optimize/maximize each client's business Provide feedback to the print-on-demand product management team to drive technology and operational improvements; interface effectively with internal development teams and service owners Bachelor’s degree or equivalent strongly preferred 1-3 years of demonstrated results managing strategic enterprise accounts in a high-tech, e-commerce, or manufacturing environment (or related B2B experience in the book industry) Excellent written and oral communication skills (foreign language proficiency a big plus) Data analysis experience Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced, cross-functional environment Ability to credibly coordinate between technical resources and business stakeholders Entrepreneurial spirit with strong product management and project management skills Intermediate to advanced knowledge of all MS Office tools including Excel and Access Familiarity with the use of some or all of the following systems: CRM, catalog, accounting, inventory management (e.g., ERP, Siebel, Salesforce.com)
