People Development (HR) Manager* / 08-2410

Position Description:

Clearwire is growing dramatically and we are looking for a People Development (HR) Manager to help drive the culture, values and employee experience that had already made us successful. This opportunity will be based in our Pensacola Technical Support Center and will support the customer care organization. Specifically, you'll have the opportunity to:- Consult with all levels of management on employee relations, staffing, compensation, development, organizational and change management issues. - Partner with PD colleagues to develop and implement specific programs directly aligned to business strategy including: compensation plans, 360 feedback, diversity initiatives, performance management, recognition and mobility and career development. - Act as an employee advocate - insuring that employees and managers are able to express concerns in a manner that is respectful of all individuals and supportive of our goals and values.- Provide support, guidance and partnership on HR issues to Clearwire's Care leadership teams on employee compliance requirements and provide guidance and proactive assistance to ensure they reach their organizational objectives. - Act as primary contact for conducting investigations of center-based employee issues and work toward positive resolution. - Play a proactive role in retaining positive employee relations, a motivated team and in cultivating culture for Clearwire across all markets.Skills and Experience:- 6+ years demonstrated performance and ability to provide HR consultation to managers and employees on HR issues including Employee Relations, Staffing, Compensation, HR policies and Performance Management. - Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and be creative in developing alternative solutions in a fast paced, dynamic environment.- Ability to effectively lead multiple activities across a population of managers and employees, meeting/exceeding commitments. - Can demonstrate a passion for identifying and developing talent in an organization.- The ideal applicant must have worked closely with a Technical Support Center or call center staff and understand how to motivate and support a closely knit leadership team.- Have flexibility for occasional travel.
