Lunar Web Pages is looking for a PHP Web Developer who wants to be the best in the business. We are looking for candidates who have a passion for Web Programming, an interest in learning new things, and a reputation for doing great work.

 

Responsibilities: Design, develop, implement and maintain new PHP web applications, adhering to coding standards. Maintain and enhance existing services and internal applications.

 

Required Skills/Experience: B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (experience accepted in lieu of degree) 3+ years experience in web development using PHP and MySQL Ability to hand-code HTML/CSS Experience with Javascript/DHTML (Prototype/Scriptaculous a plus) Understanding of object oriented design Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

 

Preferred Skills: Linux shell environment Version control systems (Subversion, CVS, etc.) Other languages such as Perl and Ruby AJAX Cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility testing MVC application frameworks Database schema design and optimization
