Mid-level C#/.NET Software Engineer/Programmer

Description

We are in immediate need of a mid-level C#/.NET software engineer/programmer with a minimum of 3 years experience designing, developing and implementing complex software solutions.  Candidate must have experience with the complete project lifecycle and be familiar with a methodology for formal delivery of systems on time.   

               Duties

·         Developing and enhancing our internal business-process applications (Windows Forms)

·         Developing and enhancing our external websites (ASP.Net)

·         Recommending process and/or system improvement

·         Performing monitoring/maintenance tasks on production systems

 

Required Education and Experience

 

·         Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.  If no degree, equivalent experience will be considered.

·         Strong programming background in C# 2.0 (3+ years)

·         Strong SQL Server 2005 DB skills including relational DB design and stored procedure development (3+ years)

·         Experience with the Visual Studio IDE and source control (3+ years)

·         Excellent knowledge of OOP design concepts/patterns (2+ years)

·         Experience with Internet Information Server and ASP.Net web development (2+ years)

·         Experience with n-Tier architectures including SOAP (2+ years)

·         Experience with GUI development (2+ years)

·         Experience with XML data structures (2+ years)

·         Experience documenting functional business requirements and writing   technical design specifications (2+ years)

·         Ability to work in a fast-pace, multi-project and dynamic environment

·         Excellent organization and communication skills

·         Passionate, self motivated and detail oriented

·         Experience with Win32 API  is a plus

·         Experience with SEO concepts is a plus
