Lands' End is a multi-channel retailer offering products through specialty catalogs, the Internet, and in Sears stores. With over 40 years of experience, Lands' End is world renowned for superior customer service and is recognized as an innovator in the industry.QualificationsAs an Internet Merchandiser, you would be responsible to proactively drive profitable online sales via the Internet business channel. Specifically, you would be responsible for developing and driving merchandising strategies and initiatives unique to the Internet based on print investment, marketing plans and campaigns. You would direct the product selection for on-line features and create appropriate merchandise and marketing strategies using e-commerce best practices. To be successful, you must be able to develop effective business relationships with product teams and divisional leadership, and lead broad divisional initiatives in cross-functional teams. Additionally, you should possess the financial skill sets to complete accurate financial plans, as well as effective competitive and user analysis. To be successful in this role you must be someone who thrives in an ever-changing environment and leads by example. Successful candidates should also have the following knowledge, skills & abilities: ·Experience in on-line navigation, product selection, merchandising, and business analysis·Ability to think creatively, conceptualizing and implementing ideas that will drive business results·Strong interpersonal skills; ability to manage differing points of view and determine an appropriate solution·Proficiency in using content management software for sophisticated merchandising placements ·Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, as well as an understanding of database functionality (Access, Filemaker, etc)·Strong financial and analytical skills to be a business driver ·Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work as a team player·Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written·Previous use with Business Objects and CoreMetrics (or other web analytic tools)·Strong organizational and time management skills·College degree required. 3-5 years internet channel experience in a retail environment preferredWhy Lands' End?Located just 45 minutes from Madison, WI, we provide a rewarding environment that provides opportunity for growth.
