Description
This newly created position is an excellent opportunity for a professional self-starter to optimize and drive our newsletter and interactive new media campaigns. Position reports directly to our VP of Audience Development, and works closely with our editorial and sales teams.
Job Responsibilities:
Newsletters: Manage overall strategy, testing agenda, and budget for RD's weekly and monthly Newsletters. Continually develop, measure, and optimize campaigns. Develop, plan and execute new value added Newsletters. Develop plan to increase newsletter recipients both on rd.com and externally. Manage database and develop appropriate reporting.
New Media: Drive and direct all activities of paid search (SEM) to ensure all search campaigns hit goals and forecasts. Manage vendor, strategy, and analysis of SEM campaigns. Manage social media initiatives developing profiles on relevant sites. Required Experience
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience with newsletters and interactive new media. MBA a plus. Knowledge of newsletter guidelines and compliance of email legislation. Proven success managing and launching newsletter. Experience with optimizing SEM campaigns through ad, keyword, and landing page optimization and A/B and multi-variant testing. Media buying and contract negotiation experience. Strong analytical skills a MUST. Thorough knowledge of the internet tools and technologies. Ability to collaborate and interact with all levels of employees, and flexible to constant changes. Expert project management skills. Knowledge of SEO a plus. ~cb~
