The Business Opportunity
Local businesses (think Doctors and Movers) are increasingly having trouble advertising to their potential customers. Years ago, it was easy, they would simply take out an ad in the yellow pages or the paper and their phone would ring. Now things are more complicated – consumers are using the search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN Live Search and expect to find local results instantly. Our goal is to make the complex world of online advertising simple for local business owners so that they can focus on running their business rather than advertising it.
Our web-based application, automates the process of creating and optimizing campaigns on Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing and MSN AdCenter, as well as call tracking and website publishing. The wide scope of our platform affords us the ability to work on quite a diverse set of interesting problems.

The Job
As a Software Engineer you will be able to work on all aspects of our platform based on your interests. We have opportunities for engineers who specialize in user-interface, backend, content management, messaging, database systems and web services. Regardless of which components you touch, we’ll want you to be involved in design, coding and testing. We primarily work with Linux, Java, Spring and PostgreSQL, but we use other technologies including BerkeleyDB, Python, Groovy and Ruby where appropriate.
