Essential responsibilities and duties include:

5 Partner with management and operational staff to define system and client needs.

5 Design, develop, and test software to ensure operational functionality and end-user ease.

5 Design system architecture and create technical specifications.

5 Continuously improve software and issue updates.

5 Develop and generate reports for client and in-house utilization.

 

Most important responsibility:

5 WOW! Internal and external customers

 

Required qualifications:

5 BS in Computer Science or MIS.

5 Ability to develop simple, elegant solutions to complex problems

5 A background building high-performance Java systems and performance tuning

5 Strong core experience with Eclipse Web Tools Platform with Java EE and Hibernate (4-7years)

5 Strong Database experience including table design, data loading, and writing complex queries with MySQL (3+ years)

5 Excellent Report writing skills with iReport’s (3+ years)  

5 Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

5 Excellent analytical and communication skills

5 Strong development experience in other technologies such as C#, MSSQL, XSL, XML, AJAX, CSS, HTML, Jscript and web services

5 Strong experience developing for Mobile devices on .NET Compact Framework

5 Experience with version control software (SVN) and Maven2 is a plus
