JR. EMAIL MARKETING SPECIALIST

As a leading Internet services and Media Infrastructure Company, we currently employ over 150 technical and e-commerce professionals working in a dynamic, rewarding environment.

We are currently looking for a full-time Jr. Email Marketing Specialist to perform a variety of tasks ranging from DB analysis, effective offer & message development, list segmentation, campaign performance testing, measurement and strategic planning.

Job Responsibilities Follow the email experience from concept development through to site click-through and conversion, with the intent to increase email return on investment along with site traffic and sales. Use web analytics to study customer email behavior and recommend improvements.Identify site enhancements needed to increase email list growth, decrease opt-out rate and increase email sales. Work with web project management, web creative and web IT to develop new features and functionality.Manage the email template structure, formatting and content strategies (e.g. what is in email headers/body/footer). Determine where people click, what is needed where within the template; test new ideas and link placements. Develop email list building and retention strategies and test programs.Manage ISP and delivery assurance partner relationships; monitor deliverability, trouble-shoot issues, and stay abreast of new industry trends and changes.Ensure our email program meets with regulatory compliance (e.g. CAN-SPAM) and privacy/permission policy best practices.Develop multi-channel and multi-business email content strategies and content themes: work closely with customer analytics group to determine who gets what message at what time.Work closely with customer analytics to develop email sales forecast and customer segmentation strategies for email marketing.

Qualifications

· Advanced Microsoft office skills; strong Excel;

· Familiarity with SQL or other DB languages, as well as HTML & other coding languages;

· Ability to apply a commercial focus and understand the target audience;

· Aptitude for teamwork and the ability to brainstorm ideas and work in close partnership with others;

· Ability to communicate with technical leads for software development or resolving programming issues;

· Motivation and determination to work long hours to meet strict deadlines;

· An interest in popular culture, an awareness of new trends and styles, an insight into the ethos of our company and an understanding of what our competitors are doing;

· Professional demeanor, strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain supportive relationships while having fun at work;

· Experience in strategy and execution of email marketing campaigns;

· Strong B2C marketing skills;

· Associate’s Degree in business, marketing or related field;

· 3-5 years experience in marketing/retail/web
