Internet Marketing/Content Assistant
Ballard Designs, Inc. is a rapidly growing, highly profitable, multi-channel marketer of Home Décor. We are seeking a results oriented professional to join our Marketing team as an Internet Marketing/Content Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following.
Responsibilities:
· Update and maintain website content and graphics
· Proactively insure website content is accurate and up-to-date
· Implement new home page templates
· Assist with the testing of new features and functions
· Assist in reviewing and refining the process and procedures of the department
· Support email marketing initiatives by preparing and loading content for deployment
· Create routine reports on website metrics.
· Maintain content on affiliate Web programs
· Complete special projects and assignments as requested
Requirements:
· 1-2 years experience in a corporate environment, preferably in the capacity of marketing assistant or an administrative role
· Must be detail oriented, very organized, and a quick learner
· Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook; basic knowledge of html, Photoshop and MS Access a plus but not required
· Internet savvy, blogging and Facebook/MySpace experience useful
· Flexible, strong team player
· Ability to thrive in fast paced constantly evolving dynamic environment
· Able to multi task, prioritize critical issues and work within all levels of the organization
· Good written and communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
