Interactive Project Manager

The primary goal of this position is to manage dynamic project teams working with the
latest interactive concepts and technologies including custom applications.  This includes overall management of Web/e-mail and database initiatives. The Project Manager is expected to be able to work closely with account teams and clients to understand business objectives and develop solutions that innovatively take advantage of e-Dialog capability, tools and e-mail practices. In managing the overall interactive projects or programs, the Project Manager is responsible for on time and on budget delivery, quality control, coordination with resources and development of effective working teams.

Position Details:
- Work with Director to pioneer the new project management discipline, rolling out new processes, tools, and enforcing adoption of the new position

- Work with Director to develop standards and document best practices as it relates to project management and maintenance and staff the project management discipline

-Successfully develop project plans by scoping, scheduling, and estimating efforts
across projects' full life cycle
- Assist in the writing and delivering of statements of work
- Successfully execute project plans by working with multiple internal departments; creative, engineering, data, production, and account services.
- Successfully set and manage account team and client expectations for projects

- Ensure timely delivery of quality deliverables
- Recognize, negotiate, and track changes in scope
- Track and report schedule and budget progress against plans
- Provide regular reports and briefings to the account teams/client
- Track actual hours and effort against a project plan and make appropriate
changes to deliver projects and programs on time and on budget
- Maintain contractual control over all aspects of the project/program
- Ensure on-time billing of project fees and expenses

Position Experience:
-Bachelor degree required

- 5-7 years experience constructing high-impact solutions using emerging technologies in an on-line technology environment
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Excellent client management skills, especially as it relates to setting and managing
client expectations

- Ability to collaborate and motivate a diverse cross-departmental team to successfully deliver multiple, concurrent projects with quality
- Experience with interactive marketing and analytical solutions to clients (experience  within e-mail a plus).
- An understanding of database marketing
- Experience in understanding of marketing communication planning, interactive
design and consultation, creative development and execution

- Proven track record delivering interactive and/or data marketing programs or multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience writing statements of work
-Strong client interface, verbal, and written communication skills

- Strong problem solving skills. Ability to work at management level, but willingness
and acumen to provide hands-on support when necessary
- Passion for staying current on emerging on-line capabilities, with a focus on
innovation and agility in delivering new solutions
