Why work at a company that does less than $100MM in eCommerce sales when you can be part of a $2 billion engine?!Our Human Resources department is currently looking for an Human Resoucres Generalist have the following primary responsibilities:1. Administers various Human Resources plans and procedures for Call Center employees; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.2. Conducts recruitment effort for exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees and conducts new-employee orientations. Responsible for all aspects of the recruiting process which includes: finding resumes, setting up interviews, following up with managers, checking references, negotiating offers and processing offer letters.3. Develops recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels. Meets with the hiring manager on a regular basis to develop specific recruiting plans. 4. Track candidate information through the hiring process (sources, # of interviews, interest/no interest, etc.). 5. Directs the efforts of employment agencies and search firms including negotiating and controlling employment related fees. Works with permanent placement agencies to find qualified candidates for specific hard to fill openings.6. Responsible for the New Hire Orientation process that includes: orientation presentation; new hire paperwork process; employee database maintenance; communicate benefit information.7. Updates Human Resource System records with new hires and compiles reports from database 8. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. 9. Manages employee relation issues for dedicated areas.10. Responsible for understanding and communicating benefit information to employees.11. Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems. 12. Monitors performance evaluation program for Call Center employees. 13. Handles employee relation issues and exit interviewing for the site. 14. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars. 15. Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. 16. Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Experience Required:- Bachelor's degree and between 3-5 years of experience in the Human Resources field. - Strong knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources administration.- Effective oral and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills. - Excellent negotiation, organizational, communication, and sales skills- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.- Experience using the Internet as a recruiting tool.- Experience in the call center environment a plus.- PHR recommended.
