Knology is currently seeking a Human Resources Director to organize and manage the Human Resources function for Knology, a growing, publicly-traded organization. This position may require up to 20% travel. Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, the future incumbent will be primarily responsible for the following:

Ø  Participates in due diligence, strategy planning and execution related to ongoing merger and acquisition activity.

 

Ø  Manages employee relations, Affirmative Action planning, EEO and OFCCP actions.

Ø  Fosters company culture and provides input and feedback on ways to further promote it.

Ø  Creates, communicates and maintains consistent HR policies and procedures.

Ø  Provides advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding discipline and employment related matters.

Ø  Develops and implements quality HR strategic initiatives for the organization.

Ø  Manages team in a full life cycle recruiting environment and ensures effective sourcing, selection and retention strategies.

Ø  Oversees 4/5 direct reports responsible for employment, unemployment, LOA/FMLA programs and general HR functions.

Ø  Recruits talent for key exempt and management positions.

Ø  Ensures compliance with federal and state laws in a multi-site organization with operations in eight states.

Successful candidates will have at least five years of progressive and varied HR management experience in addition to a related Bachelor’s degree.  A Master’s degree and S/PHR certification is a plus.
