Financial Systems Analyst Financial Systems AnalystResponsibilities:Production Support Maintain and support financial applications (Oracle E-Business 11i, Ariba, Replicon, Back Office Systems) Expertise in Oracle system configurations and set ups on the financial modules Run global Oracle application processes (Consolidation, translation, revaluation) Ability to write and understand financial reports Act as the first line analyst in resolving reported Oracle Financial problems.  This includes primary analysis and initial interface with the business to diagnose problems and identify potential system or business process solutions. Successfully interacts with the technical team on all issues related to the on-going needs of the Finance Systems applications Work on a wide variety of production support issues and set upsProjects & Processes Directs or participates in meetings with the application users and business sponsors to gather and refine business requirements, functional designs and use-cases for projects/upgrades that impact or support the Finance department Interacts with technical development team when required to develop custom programs or reports Participates in new system implementations and financial system upgrades Coordinates and verifies all system testing for system upgrades, enhancements, and implementations Identifies potential issues in terms of business practices/processes and end user adoption and suggests alternative solutions Performs detailed data analysis and presents findings in a cohesive, high impact format to drive and inform business and technical decisions, and to estimate the impact of data changes or user-requested enhancements Authors user guides, release notes and training materials Assists in establishing prioritization and scope of multiple tasks and projects Qualifications: Minimum educational level BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or IT 3-5 years Financial Systems Analyst or Finance / Accounting systems experience required Oracle E-Business 11i Financials experience required Experience participating in an Oracle applications implementation Experience in the Oracle financial modules set up and configuration Experience with Hyperion a plus Experience with SQL a plus Knowledge of financial reporting and the ability to write financial statements through a standard reporting tools Ability to effectively translate technical financial systems information to non-technical individuals Ability to adapt to change, and change focus as needed Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Strong analytical skills Ability to manage multiple priorities Strong project management skills
