We are currently looking for a Financial Business Analyst in our Conshohocken office.
SUMMARY:
Reporting to PointRoll’s Business Intelligence Manager, the Financial/ Business Analyst will assist the Business Intelligence Team in helping to achieve company objectives by providing accurate, timely, and comprehensive financial reporting and analytics to multiple stakeholders within the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Provide day-to-day financial analysis and general analytical support to all facets of the organization; developing a shared understanding of key performance drivers and trends, while offering solutions and intelligence to maximize growth and sustain client business.
·Spearhead the preparation and maintenance of the company’s annual financial budget planning process; including the creation of overall company revenue and expense models, departmental hiring plans and expense models, documenting all assumptions and procedures, and coordinating directly with key stakeholders.
·Create and maintain the quarterly reforecast and latest estimate/outlook planning process; building and maintaining multiple financial models, compiling and analyzing financial results and variances, translating results into actionable information, and providing recommendations for adjustments to further company objectives.
·Perform multiple, concurrent complex reviews/analysis of revenue, expense and operating results; work with key stakeholder to understand short and long term impacts.
·Design and implement models for advanced metrics and reporting, including regular senior management reporting, pricing scenarios, forecasting models, and deep financial analysis.
·Assist in the review and validation of revenue numbers and providing general analytical support to the monthly close process as needed. Participate as needed in the production and distribution of post-close monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
·Other ad hoc analyses and related projects as assigned.
·Explore and expand the use of technology to drive business analysis.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
·Strong background in financial analysis, exploratory data analysis, and/or basic statistical analysis.
·Strong quantitative skills with advanced proficiency in Excel from both an analytical and database tool perspective.
·Understanding of web analytics and reporting.
·Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
·Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
·Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
·Excellent verbal communication skills.
·Ability to work individually or in a team environment.
·Self-directed and comfortable working within an entrepreneurial environment.
COMPUTER & SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE:
·Microsoft Office: Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint.
·Experience with VBA, Crystal Reports, SQL, and Statistical Modeling Packages.
EDUCATION & BUSINESS EXPERIENCE:
·Bachelor’s degree required with preference toward financial or analytical degree programs (e.g. Accounting/Finance, Business, or Statistics/Mathematics); MBA a plus.
·4-6 years of experience in a financial or general analytical reporting role, preferably within an Internet, Technology, or Consulting firm.
