Facilities Manager

Job Summary:
The Facilities Manager will manage the building and grounds responsibilities; including oversight and coordination of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical maintenance, as well as performing janitorial services and outside grounds maintenance to support the overall appearance of the property.



Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
*General landscape and grounds maintenance, trash removal, snow removal and other maintenance duties.
*Moving and storage of furniture. Transporting equipment and furniture from one location to another without damage.
* Operating machinery and maintenance equipment. Including riding lawn mower, hedge trimmer, drills, snow plow and other equipment as required.
* Exterior maintenance and upkeep of building. Including painting, removal of debris, and other duties to minimize the deterioration of the building.
* Negotiating contracts with and manages relationships with service providers, including: HVAC, phone, electrical and construction repairs.
* General interior building maintenance.
* General labor.



Required Education and Experience:
*Knowledge of maintenance techniques and procedures.
* Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of material.
*High School Diploma or GED
*At least 5 years related experience in general building and grounds maintenance.
