Entry Level Help Desk Support / Network Engineer / System Admin (Japanese language skill preferred)

TOP-Group is a recruiting agency working with Japanese companies throughout the United States. Currently, we are looking for Entry Level Help Desk Support / Network Engineer / System Admin (Japanese language skill preferred) for an International Corporation in Near SFO, CA . 

 

MAJOR DUTIES

Perform system operation and administration tasks as needed.

Maintain servers which include application, database, e-mail, web, and EDI servers.

Assist users with computer desktop related requests where applicable.

Add/delete users to our domain and email systems.

Manage server backups.

Monitor server uptime and performance.

Install/configure new servers.

Maintain computing asset inventory.

Perform hardware and software upgrades.

Support cell phones and cell phone email server.

Make recommendations for server sizing and storage capacity planning.

Other tasks and special projects as required and assigned by supervisor.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills

Windows Server 2003 administration

MS Active Directory administration

MS Exchange server administration

Windows XP desktop support

CA BrightStor ARCserver backup system administration

Experience with Dell and HP server hardware

Server and network trouble shooting.

Strong analytical, communication, organization, and time management skills.

Customer service orientation.

Japanese Language skill preferred.
