This is an opportunity to use your knowledge and creativity as a strategic, self-driven HR professional to develop a variety of HR initiatives from scratch in a newly created role. As Director of Human Resources for SourceForge, you will be responsible for maintaining a competent, motivated workforce by developing, executing and evaluating human resource programs, processes and systems that support the needs of the employee and meet corporate objectives. SourceForge is at the center of the booming open source technology movement and you will be joining us at a crucial stage in our growth. As HR Director for SourceForge you will be based at our Mountain View, CA headquarters, reporting directly to the CFO. Your broad HR experience will enable you to implement scalable systems and processes as our company continues its growth trajectory. Your initial priorities will be to work with the general managers of each business unit to bring teams together as a cohesive group and to evaluate our current stock option administration process to find areas for improvement. Over time, you will work with the executive team and the HR Manager reporting to you to define talent acquisition and retention strategies and further develop our compensation and benefits programs. You will also drive training and performance management programs, evaluate our HRIS system (and potentially select a new one), and formalize policies and procedures. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will allow you to lead through influence and your high energy level will ensure that you thrive in our fast-paced, dynamic environment.
