Director, Marketing Research & Analysis

An industry leader in the video IM space seeks a Director, Marketing Research & Analysis in its midtown New York headquarters

 

Key ResponsibilitiesLead all aspects of market research projects from planning and design to delivery of results including qualitative research (e.g., electronic focus groups, in-depth interviews, and traditional focus groups) and quantitative research (e.g., design, sampling, data collection, and analysis). Proven ability to manage a portfolio of projects, exceptional analytical capabilities and consulting skills.Ability to apply qualitative research findings.Work with external and internal partners to establish reporting, and evaluate daily metrics measuring the performance of marketing programs and campaigns.Create an acquisition forecast using traffic, conversion, and churn Measure, analyze and report key trends in the growth of the business.Track usage and build a life-cycle model of various customer segments.Collaborate with other team members to help service their data needs.

Requirements:5-8 years work experience - preferably at a company with a direct to consumer software product.Multiple years of custom market research experience, including a solid understanding of quantitative methods. Marketing/campaign management experience with loyalty and/or database marketing and analysis preferred.Expert in statistical analysis and database tools.A solid statistical background along with a working knowledge of statistical software. Exceptional analytical skills with a strong interest in all aspects of marketing from creative development through post-campaign analysis.Proficiency with a variety of software applications, including SQL, Access, Excel, Power Point and WordBA/BS required, preferably in business, mathematics or statistics

Salary: $100 - $140k
