Director, Business Operations - Online Marketing Division

Los Angeles-based, Internet Brands, Inc. is currently seeking a Director, Business Operations for the Online Marketing Division. The director will be responsible for developing a thorough understanding of business operations and online marketing activities within the automotive category and will lead initiatives that generate traffic to Internet Brands websites. This position will manage a team of online marketing managers and analysts. This is a great opportunity for a well-rounded business professional that is skilled in using analysis to drive business decisions, loves managing people/teams and is passionate about the Internet. Responsibilities:  Maximizing team efficiency and effectiveness
Managing online marketing activity and their contribution to the business
Managing media relationships, which includes contract negotiations, integration and continued optimization, and evaluation of ROI
Identifying opportunities for strategic partnerships and coordinating these relationships.
Tracking expenditures vs. budget
Working with project managers who oversee the technical development and maintenance of Internet Brands websites


Requirements:
 Internet industry management experience very helpful
Previous staff management experience and ability to mobilize a team toward achievement of results
Online marketing experience and knowledge of SEM/SEO a plus
Strong initiative and willingness to approach work with a sense of urgency
Web-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Strong organizational skills
Superior interpersonal communication skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
