Director, Analytics - Minneapolis, MN

Accountable for optimizing corporate dollars spent on search engine marketing.

 

Responsibilities:

·  Building the BI / Analytics team for this established retailer

·  Develop and manage the strategic analytics roadmap

·  Evaluation of existing systems, technologies, and set up new systems and processes for measuring, tracking, analysis, and reporting of online marketing campaigns.

·  Lead the analysis and tracking of paid channels, predictive modeling, statistical analysis, etc.

·  Will also carry knowledge over into other departments to ensure the appropriate spending of funds (broadcasting, direct mail, etc.)

·  May supervise others

·  Other duties as assigned & perform special projects as needed.

 

Qualifications:BS in Statistics, Math, etc. Advanced degree preferred5+ years experience in business intelligence and marketing research in an online environment.Strong experience with BI tools, Oracle BI suite, Business Objects, Cognos as well as statistical tools including SAS, SPSS, etc.Experience with Database Marketing tools - SEO, SEM, etc.
Strong interpersonal and persuasive communications skills-both written & verbal,  problem solving, organization, & leadershipTeam player, highly collaborative, can do attitude, able to effectively promote a team environment. Productively challenge status quo and offer new approaches and ideas.

Salary:  $90-120k plus bonus and stock
