Data Warehouse Analyst (Sr. Business Intel. Developer)

 POSITION: Data Warehouse Analyst (Microsoft) / Senior Business Intelligence Developer DEPARTMENT:  Digital  LOCATION: Irvine, CA REPORTS TO:  Technical Program Manager FUNCTIONS:  Design and develop data warehousing solutions utilizing Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (Microsoft Integration Services, Microsoft Analysis Services, Microsoft Reporting Services) Analyze and gather business, data, and source requirements Design and create normalized and star-schema databases to support various aspects of business intelligence solutions Thorough understanding of OLAP along with transactional processing, data mining and data warehousing Responsible for overall data architecture strategy, policies, and operation of enterprise data warehouse Install, maintain, monitor and support Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence tools and solutions Implement and support data warehousing industry best practices  REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science minimum MS degree, preferred 5-10 years of related work experience is required Experience working with large databases (>100MM rows) Experience creating custom metrics or calculated sets using MDX Experienced in data warehousing tools and techniques, concepts and industry best practices (e.g., Kimball, Inmon, etc.) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Skills and experience with entire Microsoft Business Intelligence stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)   Ability to work and communicate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and convert to technical requirements  EQUIPMENT, SOFTWARE USED: Prior software development/programming experience Experience with Agile and Scrum software development methodologies Experience with OLAP on Excel 2007, ProClarity/PerformancePoint Server     HOW TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION:  NAME:  Human Resources FAX:  714.939.2526 EMAIL ADDRESS: career@sourceinterlink.com   Benefits: We offer a competitive benefits package to include medical, dental, vacation, 401(k) holiday pay and a great working environment.
