Director of Information Technology
Perm possible contract to hire
Responsible for supervising a staff of 15 employees who provide Help Desk support, networking & hardware solutions and application development for the agency's 700+ staff. The technology environment is Windows-based and includes TCP/IP protocols and VOIP. The application development environment utilizes JAVA and an Oracle database.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree, master's preferred, demonstrated success in IT management and experience in budget management.
Must have commitment to meeting the information technology needs of child welfare professionals, excellent interpersonal skills and the talent to motivate an information technology team. Present and explain IT issues to senior management and direct service staff.
Experience managing vendor relationships and serving as change agent for major technology transitions.
Committed to maintaining high professional standards for self and staff, to practicing cultural competence in service delivery and to maintaining high levels of satisfaction for IT customers.
