Description:ResponsibilitiesOther responsibilities include:Develop intellectual capital and best practices focused on email marketing, online marketing, and database marketing.Client presentations, on-site work-sessions, and correspondencesHandle multiple projects and engagements as part of Strategic Services teamRepresent the company with industry speaking engagements and publicationsParticipate in the development of new service offeringsWork with Industry consultants, peer groups, and client service teams to cross-sell and up-sell existing clients and identify new business opportunities.Personal DevelopmentDevelop knowledge in multiple industries and across marketing disciplines of strategy, planning and operations, as well as for different marketing objectives of acquisition, loyalty, and up-sell/cross-sellBecome aware of, and develop capabilities to apply knowledge of all of Epsilons assets, tools, and capabilitiesRequired Skills and Experience:Direct or database marketing background, experience with consulting or analytics projects in Interactive marketing, including emailStrong quantitative and analytical skills requiredPreferred Skills and Experience:Degree in an analytical/consulting/management disciplineStrong presentation skillsAbility to thrive in a dynamic work environmentQualifications:As part of Epsilons market-leading Interactive Strategic Services team, you will contribute to a team of interactive strategists and analysts, working with Fortune 500 companies to help them optimize Interactive marketing strategies and tactics. Using your analytical skills and online marketing experience, you will help these world-class clients gain unique insights into email performance and help them use this insight to drive better marketing ROI.The ideal candidate for this position will have a combination of interactive direct marketing and quantitative analytical skills, along with some consultative experience helping clients improve their marketing performance.Primary Responsibilities: Work day-to-day on client service engagements, typically with regular visits on client premises. Evolve to manage or co-manage client projects and retainers in the areas of interactive strategy consulting, working with other consultants and analysts in the group.Provide quantitative and strategic marketing consulting services to new and existing clients. Examples include:Campaign Optimization: work with clients to optimize email and online marketing campaign performance.Email campaign/program management: lifecycle messaging strategy development, analysis, and performance improvement through customer acquisition, retention, cross-sell, and winbackEmerging technologies: research and develop interactive programs for clients, utilizing emerging technologies in Web, viral, and online community spaces.Unique Insight: help clients gain insights into their business and customer behavior through analysis of campaign data, transactional data, customer profile data, etc.Customer Lifecycle Management: develop multi-channel contact strategies tailored to individual customer segments. Business Development: Support sales teams in new prospect meetings and client renewals.Under the leadership of industry consultants or functional group leaders, types of activities will include supporting the following:Marketing communications strategyDeveloping profiles/personas of targeted consumers for marketing communications;Creating segmentations;Helping to determine marketing mix allocations; Developing strategic marketing concepts; Creating investment plans, including justification for such plans; and,Marketing communications planningDetermining most effective communications options (e.g., channels/tools);Determining timing and cadence, and other characteristics of campaigns and programs;Creating marketing playbooks;Create experimental test design plans;Define performance metrics and measurement scheme;Design program elements;Help select execution partners;Define roles for execution.Secondary research (via the Internet, typically) and business model/business case development.Provides business-related input into the development and ongoing maintenance of the CRM/marketing systems used by clientsDesigns, creates and distributes reports using Excel and similar analytical tools.
