San Francisco-based Trulia Inc. ( http://www.trulia.com) is a leading national real estate search engine that helps people find homes for sale, research neighborhoods, and connect with real estate professionals.

Trulia is seeking a Community Manager to act as a community advocate within Trulia and an evangelist, advocate and uber-member of the Trulia Voices community. This individual will work to strengthen the existing on-line community, recruit new community members via online and offline channels, and organize and nurture Trulia evangelists.

Responsibilities: Deep involvement in day-to-day Trulia Voices activity, including maintaining a blog, commenting, emailing members, asking and answering questions. Driving engagement in the community by proactively organizing and reaching out to Trulia Voices members with tips, feedback & education. Identify high quality content and influencers within the community and convert engaged users into evangelists. Proactive moderation - reaching out and encouraging new users, engaging existing users. Be a Trulia advocate and drive outreach efforts to strengthen and grow the community. Lead online/offline events and programs. Provide feedback loop to product & design on Trulia Voices. Participate in editorial strategy for Trulia Voices; manage paid content.

 

Ideal Qualifications: Background as a real estate professional, with a track record of engagement in social media. Experience managing growing communities. Spectacular interpersonal and communication skills. Technical savvy - light coding skills and social media. Enthusiasm for helping create a world-class community to help revolutionize the real estate process.
