Change Control Manager (Configuration Management)

We’re looking for a detail oriented Change Control Manager (IT Operations, Build & Release) interested in being in the middle of application and operational changes in a cutting edge world class environment. In this high visibility role, you would be accountable for the Administration of the Production system Change Control Process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Ownership of the change control process, monitoring, evaluation and implementation of changesLead weekly Production Change Control meeting as the acting Change Control ManagerLiaise with Production Operations, Infrastructure Engineering, Product Development, QA, Customer Support, Security, IT and Product Management Ensure process adherence with established procedures Monitor that all required approvals are attained prior to implementation of Change Requests Monitor unanimous approval of the Change Control Board for all Change Control Requests Communicate approved changes to the company Provide training on the process as needed to individuals and groups Evaluate, maintain, obtain and create tools required for the process Support requested escalation of denied changes and communicate status thereof to the requestor and the Change Control BoardRecord and communicate minutes of Service Delivery Post Mortem meetingsCommunicate status and closure of Post Mortem action itemsSupport the Post Mortem process

 

QUALIFICATIONS:5+ years of industry experience in high uptime technical environment Demonstrated leadership success in a process focused environment Great attention to detail Ability to understand technical details of Linux/Sybase/Oracle/SAN/Cisco environment sufficiently well to ask appropriate questions Good written and verbal communication skills Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
