BUSINESS ANALYST – INFRASTRUCTURE Overview: The Business Analyst is responsible for developing detailed functional specifications for integration and application enhancements as well as new application features, modules or products. The Business Analyst will do research to determine business and user requirements and will then produce a detailed functional specification document comprising technical specifications, use cases, business requirements and wireframes. The Business Analyst will work with development, quality assurance and user experience teams to communicate design specifications and resolve problems with designs. Required Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years progressive business analysis experience leading large scale (multi-phase, multi-team) sized projects, with a primary focus on writing functional specifications for web-based software application development- ideally for e-commerce systems. Required Knowledge and Skills: Provide clear and regular communications on statuses to stakeholders Effectively prioritize issues to complete a project in a timely manner Understand the underlying architecture of the DR proprietary web-based application Lead functional and technical specifications definition for web-based systems and processes Become an expert user (both from an end-user and technical perspectives) of the DR proprietary web-based application Understand the "big picture" view as it relates to the day-to-day activities and tasks Possesses a proven track record in developing and executing requirements for large (multi-phase, multi team member) sized system projects Possesses a proven leadership skills in developing and motivating project team members Demonstrate problem solving skills with the ability to probe and research issues in depth Possesses a proven track record in training and mentoring peers and subordinates Possesses a proven track record in project-leading medium and large size projects Required Education: College degree or equivalent experience Digital River, Inc. supports and embraces a diverse workforce as an Equal Employment Opportunity /Affirmative Action employer.
