Associate Producer

We are currently seeking a Associate Producer who is responsible for assisting in the production, direction, and overall management of a significant online game title. The Associate Producer reports directly to the project’s Producer and is responsible for all matters relating to their title including personnel management,  PR/Marketing coordination, concept integration, community knowledge, developer liaison, defect tracking, and online distribution.

 

Under the guidance of the project’s Producer, the Associate Producer is responsible for managing each assigned task and seeing it through to completion. The ideal candidate is an individual who is self-driven and motivated, has initiative, and has the ability to communicate and work with people both inside and outside of their own game team.

 

Daily Responsibilities:

 Assist in the day-to-day operation and production of a major online titleProvide direction and manage the implementation of new game content Work with the Marketing and Public Relation groupsManage the relationship with their title’s developerMaintain knowledge of online and MMOG market trends and customer requirements for both the U.S. and foreign marketsLiaise with other internal departments and external developers as needed

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

· 2+ years of experience in the gaming industry with increasing levels of responsibility

· Experience assisting in the production of 1 – 2  published game titles (PC MMO titles preferred)

· Lead and/or other management experience

· Passion for games, including Online and Massively Multi-player Online Games (MMOGs)

· Familiarity with current online PC game titles and operational structure

· Ability to motivate your game team and other departments to participate in the success of your title

· Initiative and positive attitude in a rapidly changing environment

· Great organizational skills and strong attention to detail

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Proficiency with MS Office (including Word and Excel)

·  Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree or equivalent industry experience
