Associate / Client Services / New Markets 


Compete is recruiting an outstanding individual to join its Boston-based practice, reporting directly to the Managing Director.  This individual will be responsible for performing data-driven analysis, developing insightful research reports for clients and helping cultivate long-term client relationships within the U.S. services industry.  


Specific responsibilities include:Perform analysis of consumer marketing issues and business practices using large datasets of online behavior and survey responsesDevelop custom online research report for clients that identify key online trends in their industries and provide recommendations that lead to better business resultsSupport new client growth in collaboration with client development teamMaintain day-to-day contact with clients assuring that their needs are met and that their deliverables are produced on time and at the highest possible qualityAssist in the up-selling and renewing of existing clients. 


Qualifications:Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Business or Economics, MBA a plus2+ years of professional experience in the Internet, consulting, eCommerce, and/or consumer marketing Experience making consulting-oriented presentations to executive-level audiencesExperience performing market research and analysis using large data setsStrong analytical writing skills and attention to detailExceptional ability to manage one’s time, set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and fluid environmentDemonstrated track record of developing and managing long-term client relationshipsOutstanding personal references required.
