Associate Buyer, Jewelry The Retail Jewelry team at Amazon.com is looking for an Associate Buyer with strong communication, organizational and analytical skills to support our Sterling Silver category. This person will be responsible for managing the workflow between the Buying team and Merchandising, Editorial, Catalog and Control Buying. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable working independently to solve problems and have the ability to handle multiple tasks to achieve deadlines. Primary job responsibilities include: • Managing new item creation • Implementation of promotional/merchandising activities• Pricing and sales analysisThe candidate must by highly organized and have strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point). The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the Amazon.com business model, strong analytical skills, and the ability to multi-task in a highly demanding environment. The candidate will be flexible, action & results oriented, self-starting with a comfort of utilizing new tools and computer databases. Attention to detail is vital in this role, and the candidate must demonstrate superior written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
