Associate Account Executive

 

My Client is a leader in the Search Engine Marketing industry. They are looking for individuals with strong analytical and technical skills for the Associate Account Executive role.

 

The Associate Account Executive is responsible for daily monitoring and reporting of key findings of campaigns, and the successful production of all tasks.  Associate Account Executives can define career paths for themselves which include Account Manager, Account Executive, or Testing Analyst.  Because they are free to define a career path, they are supported with related hands-on training/tasks by their team, and work that supports their continuous growth into their selected path/role. 

 

Their main responsibility daily is supporting teams by assigning critical tasks to Production and other resources utilizing a task assignment system.  Direction for all tasks that are required to be ordered is provided daily by the team’s Account Executive, whom the Associate Account Executive works with closely in order to understand the performance and requirements of specific clients’ search marketing campaigns.  They are also responsible for following up on all Production tasks, QA/review of these tasks, and assistance to ensure they are completed successfully.  If required, based on Production resource allocation/availability, Associate Account Executives must assist in the application of unique tracking to keywords/listings, research, development, and upload of initial and expanded keyword lists, writing of creatives (listing titles/descriptions), and expansion of search campaigns into additional engines.

 

Daily campaign monitoring and support of an Account Executive’s campaign optimization initiatives is a critical component of the Associate Account Executive’s role.  They’re expected to understand our technology, and current performance targets/metrics, and make changes to campaigns based on the direction of Account Executives and Testing Analysts.  They work with the Account Executive on developing schedules of Production and performance milestones/tasks for campaign maintenance and growth.

 

An Associate Account Executive’s success is measured by the account team’s satisfaction with daily work, growth into a role that they choose (career path), and client satisfaction related to production of work in a timely and efficient manner.

 

 

Essential Job Functions:

· Responsible for daily campaign monitoring, key finding/notes on current campaign performance based on an Account Executive’s direction and consistent list of tasks required for daily management and growth of campaigns.

 

· Provides Account Executives with status reporting, and performs Quality Assurance of all tasks delivered by Production and other internal resources.

 

· Performs search engine marketing activities including, but not limited to search engine account setup, funding, and organization, keyword and creative (listing title/description) expansion/development, LID application, uploads, and campaign QA checks for errors, inconsistencies, and performance assistance.

 

· Assists in setup of campaign testing including Landing Page, Creative, and other tests by working with Account Executives and Testing Analysts.

 

· Accountability and ownership of campaign.

 

· Assists Account Director, Account Manager, and Account Executive with development of client reports and status presentations on a consistent basis.

 

Skills required:

A minimum of 6 months of SEM experience to include campaign setup(Google, Yahoo, MSN), maintaining a budget, monitoring campaign progress, keyword research

 

* Position requires proficiency in MS Excel including formula creation, custom report with table/graph creation, etc.

 

Supervisory Responsibility:

None

 

Direct Reporting Responsibility:

This individual will report to the Vice President, Client Services and work within a team daily

Directed and overseen by an Account Executive.
