Job Description


Our client's Entertainment design studio in New York is looking for an Art Director to head its industry leading music site.This Music site is currently ranked number one among all music sites and we are looking for someone who can continue the site’s success, while working to take it in exciting new directions.  As Art Director, he or she will oversee all aspects of the design for the site, as well as a new tour tracking site launching this summer.  
The Ideal candidate must have experience working for agencies with experience in major high-profile entertainment web sites. Along with strong design aesthetics, they are responsible for all phases of creative process and accountable for hands on design and directing creative work.  We are looking for a music lover that has a passion for interactive design.

• Teaches, coaches, and mentors others in design fundamentals including color theory, typography, and composition.
• Possesses excellent knowledge of information architecture, user interface essentials, interaction design, style guide creation, and motion design.

• Works closely with the Creative Director to establish and maintain visual integrity within all of the design department’s visual executions.
• Works to create exciting visual design and look and feel that supports and enhances the overall experience.
