Vice President/ Operations

National insurance brokerage agency based in Atlanta seeks Vice President, Operations. Qualified candidates will have experience in management in the life insurance industry with new business, underwriting management, human resources and/or agency operations.

 

A “Can doâ€� attitude in delivering results to the ultra-successful financial advisor and his/her demanding clientele is needed. These financial experts broker life insurance with our organization.  You will need excellent communication skills and must be able to manage and motivate our team to deliver outstanding results to our clients. You must be able to direct a team and have a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get to “yesâ€�. In addition, you need:

 An understanding of the independent financial advisor and their dedication to the best interest of the client, and having a choice of life insurance companies with which to do business.Experience in new business case management to monitor, improve cycle time to encourage repeat business from the producer.  The ability to train a team of case managers on how to remove roadblocks to facilitate case issue.Ability to act as liaison with sales managers (driver personalities) on case status, problem resolution, and interface with producer as neededProficient in Agency Works technology a plus or related Web based case management systemsExperience with more than one life insurance company underwriting or new business process. Previous experience with a life brokerage agency a plus.  Understanding and proficiency of medical impairments a plusAbility to manage priorities with changing deadlines.Desire to win for the broker and for the organization Ability to build relationships with insurance carrier underwriters and new business team and respected by the carriers we represent
