Underwriting Specialist
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Expanding carrier is seeking to add a Non-Standard (High Risk) Underwriting Specialist in Texas. This is a key role in the company as you will be reporting to the Vice President of Underwriting. The primary functions of the job will be to work with underwriting and marketing, and communicating with the producers. You will also be partnering with the pricing analysts, business developers, and IT staff on systems development. Work on file audits and agency management will also be required.
Must have strong background as you will be handling the entire State of Texas for this high risk automobile insurance company. This Underwriting Specialist will facilitate marketing plan for State of Texas.
Two weeks of training in the home office will be provided. Will then work from home and eventually establish an office in Texas.
REQUIREMENTS:Requires Insurance Company Experience underwriting Non-Standard Auto Current Non-Standard (High Risk) Auto Underwriting Experience Must have Auto Liability & Physical Damage Experience Familiar with agents and markets in the State of Texas Excellent written & verbal communication skills Valid driver's license
