Underwriter I
Kemper, a leader in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry is seeking to hire an Underwriter I. This is an entry level position. Position will be responsible for administering established underwriting policy and practices to assure the achievement of the lowest possible loss and expense ratios, consistent with Corporate underwriting and sales objectives. Successful candidate must have: -Effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills -Excellent customer service skills -Excellent interpersonal and human relation skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers and team members -Demonstrated ability to analyze situations and problems including mathematical analysis -Solid organizational, planning and time management skills Education requirements are equivalent to graduation from college, or the equivalent in related work experience.
