Territory Sales Manager

American Modern Insurance Group, an A+ rated property & casualty insurance subsidiary, is looking for an experienced sales professional. We are a proven provider of specialty insurance products and services, headquartered in Cincinnati. This key sales position will cover the Washington, Oregon, and Idaho areas. This position focuses on managing existing accounts as well as developing new business. The Territory Sales Manager will assist with developing the territorial sales plan, including new account development, retention and marketing strategy.

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for managing current accounts towards profitability as well as generating new business through new relationships and book conversions. The Sales Manager will sell all product lines, and will be rewarded on balancing growth with profitability. This position will conduct training sessions with accounts, by demonstrating a good working knowledge of all products and distribution channels within American Modern Insurance Group. This position will also be responsible for prospects for new Point of Sales business, Independent & General Agents, and large strategic & specialty accounts.

 

We are targeting qualified applicants from the greater Seattle area, as this is centrally located for the territory. 


Qualified candidates will have the enthusiasm for sales and a drive for results. We require a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent sales experience) and 5+ years of sales experience. Previous field experience covering a similar sized territory is also desirable. Our ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of managing a territory and property and casualty insurance sales experience. You must have self-motivation, creativity, and good decision quality. Candidates must also be goal-oriented and self starters.
