Territory Marketing Manager
Our client specializes in providing mechanical, electrical and pressure systems equipment breakdown reinsurance and related services to insurance companies in North America. For more than 125 years, our client has been committed to providing superior customer service. Their goal is to be an advocate for their partner companies, giving them the dedicated attention they want and deserve.
Territory Marketing Manager responsibilities:
Accountable for developing and maintaining a profitable portfolio of Equipment Breakdown treaty reinsurance business for our client company. This is accomplished through efficient marketing, and monitoring of Partner Company performance, negotiation of treaty terms and pricing, and promoting and delivering client company reinsurance products and services at a level superior to the competition. Working in partnership with the New Business Development department and other client company disciplines. The role of the Reinsurance Territory Manager will also be to develop and secure new Equipment Breakdown treaty partnerships. This will be accomplished by developing and executing effective Strategic Sales Plans and positioning our client company as the preferred reinsurance partner.
Territory Marketing Manager requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent. Previous Reinsurance experience and CPCU accreditation desirable. Minimum 5 years industry experience including property insurance / reinsurance, treaty development and Equipment Breakdown technical underwriting / engineering experience. Possess knowledge of all aspects of the Equipment Breakdown insurance and reinsurance business. This includes an knowledge of market and changing business trends, company buying influences, coverage, industry forms and treaty wordings, underwriting and reinsurance program design, portfolio and financial analysis, engineering principles and loss prevention. A general understanding of property and casualty insurance/reinsurance is needed as well as a thorough grasp of key business drivers and the financial elements leading to overall profitability. Sound judgment, decision making and sales/influencing/negotiation/ presentation skills, oral and written communication, interpersonal relations, planning and organization, problem solving, and good team building skills. Customer-focused and service oriented, with the ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships with Partner Companies, prospects, and intermediaries/agents.
