Surety Territory Manager
This position is located in Pittsburgh, PA.
The primary function of the Surety Manager is to generate an acceptable profit level for the Company. Incumbent is responsible for the marketing and underwriting of Contract surety business as well as the marketing for all other Surety/Fidelity products.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in business or related field
· AFSB classes recommended but not required
· Minimum of 7 years experience in Contract Surety
· Knowledge of Commercial Surety & Fidelity
· Above average communication and computer skills
· Excellent marketing and new business development skills
· In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, including revisions (AICPA)
· In-depth knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to the surety industry within assigned territory
· Participation in industry educational program is desirable
· Ability for travel is required
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
