Description Statistician Statistical AnalystSmith Hanley, a leader in the specialized recruiting services organization for over 30 years, currently has an opportunity available for a Statistical Statistician Analyst.  We focus on providing staffing solutions by matching high-quality professionals with rewarding positions across multiple areas of Information Technology. Our specialties include contract staffing, strategic resource groups, and outsourcing solutions. Bring your statistical abilities to this insurance company's product and corporate research group. You will serve as an independent contributor to the team with full data handling responsibilities to include data extraction, manipulation and analysis. This will involve merging, aggregating, restructuring and reformulation of data as well as building linear regression models to support multiple corporate research projects and risk analysis for pricing insurance policies.Responsibilities include Data management to include merging, aggregating, restructuring and reformulation Building statistical models Presenting findings in a professional format for presentation to executive management Miscellaneous ad hoc reporting and research projects as needed Benefits include Competitive salaries Multiple medical / dental plans 3 weeks vacation/personal time Long term disability 401k savings plan Company paid Life Insurance and Long term Disability Sponsorship if needed!
