Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Company: Jackson National Life Insurance Company Contact: Staffing Specialist Email: Apply by Email Address: Lansing, MI 48951 Staffing & Associate Relations Representative Responsibilities and DutiesThis position will provide staffing and associate relations support and function as an HR liaison for selected business units, in conjunction with HR management. This person is responsible for providing HR generalist support including talent acquisition, associate relations issues, development and interpretation of HR policies and procedures, and general project work as assigned in HR. Talent acquisition responsibilities include recruitment, selection and evaluation of professional level talent for positions filled both internally and externally for assigned business units. This position will also identify selection tools and participate in ongoing validation studies of pre-employment assessments. This includes interpreting and assisting others in evaluating a variety of pre-employment assessment tools and making recommendations and devising new strategies for better selection and increased retention. Associate relations responsibility will involve analysis of associate relations issues, consultation with management for appropriate action, and development of systemic solutions for ongoing issues. Project work will range from direct project management to working on project teams regarding general HR and staffing/associate relations issues. Job Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management · Minimum 3 years experience in private sector talent acquisition, associate relations and related HR responsibility· Ability to develop strong customer service oriented relationships with business unit managers and function as a strategic partner in meeting their business needs· Demonstrated experience working in an HR environment that fosters teamwork, learning from one another, and working together for the benefit of internal customers · Working knowledge of HR/Employment law· Excellent project management abilities· Experience with pre-employment assessment tools and test validation· Excellent verbal and writing skills· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and various Applicant Tracking Systems Preferred Qualifications · PHR designation
