As an Sr. Underwriter in International/EPLI, you will focus on helping our customers run their businesses better by evaluating their operations.

Our International business unit is currently hiring for their Underwriter role.  In this role you will contribute to the growth and profitability of Liberty International Underwriters through marketing, underwriting and control of products and services which respond to the needs of medium and large complex risks and risks requiring special handling or unusual coverages Responsibilities:Establish and maintain relationships to facilitate the marketing of Liberty International Unit products to the broker community.Makes independent sales calls to market and cross market.Review rating and underwriting of target new business and renewal business.Provide input to the Product Line Leader with respect to marketing plans, including but not limited to product analysis, services, geographic focus, and broker intelligence.Review and negotiate policy terms and conditions including manuscript wording.Update and maintain various logs and prepare reports as required.Qualifications:Bachelors degree, or equivalent training plus between 0-5 years of relevant and progressively more responsible work experience required. Requires knowledge of underwriting concepts, practices, procedures and techniques, including, but not limited to coverage issues, product lines, marketing, computers and product competition within the marketplace.The ability to effectively interact with brokers and internal departments is also required. Strong verbal and written communications, and organizational skills. Strong negotiation, analytical and decision making skills also required.
