Sr. ETL DataStage Developer

Type of Position- Permanent (Will sponsor Green Card) SR. ETL DataStage Developer Job Function: The Sr. Data Warehousing Developer designs, develops, tests, and maintains the ETL scripts and jobs that are required to extract, transform, clean, and move data and metadata so that it can be loaded into a data warehouse, data mart, or operational data store. They accomplish this with little guidance, and frequently mentor less experienced Data Warehouse Developers. They also serve as project technical leads for mid-sized data warehousing projects. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 1. 5 years experience developing in DataStage 2. Extensive experience in Unix Scripting3. 3-5 years experience with Data Warehousing environments / corresponding concepts.4. 3-5 years experience in Data Warehousing data population techniques for target structures such as Star Schemas, Snowflake Schemas, and highly normalized data models.5. Greater than 3 years experience with programming languages such as UNIX6. Excellent ETL staging environment development skills. 7. Excellent at performance tuning ETL processes (concepts such as parallelization, caching, sorting, and indexing). 8. Excellent SQL programming skills.
