Senior Underwriter- Marine

Executec Recruiters, an established executive search firm that specializes in the insurance industry. This position requires MARINE CARGO experience.
 

Job Duties:



* Develop new and existing broker accounts

* Visit brokers appearing on our “High Priorityâ€� listing

* annual site visits to clients and brokers

* Take an active role in production by obtaining submissions, developing quotes and binding business

* Bind a minimum of 15 accounts and review a minimum of 50 annually

* Review profitability of each account on a quarterly basis and discuss corrective action plans



Requirements:

*  At least 3-5 years of marine underwriting experience, with demonstrated, progressive levels

*  Strong knowledge of Marine Cargo coverage forms, terms and conditions

*  Strong agency management and production skills with an understanding of the agency’s business objectives

*  Excellent verbal and written communications skills

*  Strong computer skills.
