Our client, a global property and casualty insurance carrier, seeks a Senior Underwriter who will be responsible for analyzing and underwriting new and renewal business focusing on the M&A market. As your limits and authority will be broad and your assignments will be complex, you must have significant experience selling and underwriting WC, GL and auto programs, and have proven technical skills. You will work a national territory and interact heavily with brokers, M&A specialists, and additional product specialties, i.e., D&O, reps and warranties and excess and umbrella areas. A minimum of five years experience as an underwriter or production underwriter in the P&C industry is mandatory, along with an in-depth knowledge of the product lines, as well as legal and regulatory guidelines. Additionally, you must have a proven ability to effectively assess complex risk.
